Work
I produce digital, sound-led and immersive experiences for museums, galleries and cultural institutions. I work across storytelling, sound, visitor experience and creative technology, using research, collaboration and experimentation to shape each project. I’m interested in the different ways people engage with content and technology. I take the time required to find the right form for each project, situating it in place and making it accessible for audiences with different needs.

Little Library
I worked as a Creative Consultant within the Art Processors team during the development of the State Library of South Australia's new children's library. I creative-led the development of the Talk and Sing interactive experience zones, exploring how playful, participatory experiences could encourage children and their carers to use voice, sound, language and music together.
My involvement focused on creative direction, concept development and experience design during the project's development phase. I went on maternity leave before the project was completed, and remained a consultant rather than leading the final delivery.

Carrick Hill Audio Tour
I led the development of a new audio experience for Carrick Hill, drawing on archival research and oral histories to tell the story of the historic house, its collection and the lives of the people who inhabited it. Narrated by Tilda Cobham-Hervey, the tour was designed to accompany visitors as they move through the house and encounter its rooms, objects and histories.
As Project Lead, I worked across experience design, script writing, audio production and Sound and Music Supervision, bringing together research, interpretation, voice, sound and music into a cohesive visitor experience.
2024
White Bay Power Station
I produced an audio guide for the reopening of White Bay Power Station, using sound, oral history and storytelling to interpret the industrial history, architecture and changing life of the site. The experience was designed to be listened to while moving through the power station, connecting individual stories with the scale, materiality and atmosphere of the building itself.
My work included creative production, audio production, sound and music, working across content development and the visitor experience.

Melbourne Spring Fashion Week — Opening Night
I was commissioned by Moth Experience Design Agency as Music Director for the opening night of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week, developing the sound and music direction for the event in collaboration with long-time collaborator Casey Hartnett.
We created a spatially aware sonic experience that brought together live performers, including a children’s choir and experimental musicians, with recorded and newly composed works. The music direction responded to the architecture, movement and pacing of the event, treating sound as an active part of the audience experience rather than a conventional soundtrack.

Louise Bourgeois
An immersive audio experience developed for Louise Bourgeois: Has the Day Invaded the Night or Has the Night Invaded the Day? at the Art Gallery of NSW. The project used voice, sound and music to create different pathways through Bourgeois' work while allowing visitors to continue looking and moving freely through the exhibition.
I worked across creative production, content and audio production, stakeholder
collaboration and music direction as part of an ongoing series of location-aware
audio experiences developed with the Gallery.
2023
Kandinsky
An immersive audio experience developed for the Art Gallery of NSW exhibition Kandinsky. Sound, music and spoken interpretation offered parallel ways into the artist's work, with the experience designed around sustained listening while visitors moved through the exhibition.
I worked across creative production, content and audio production and music direction, continuing a long-running collaboration with the Gallery exploring alternatives to the conventional stop-by-stop museum audio tour.

Hidden: Seven Children Saved
I provided Sound and Music Supervision for the Melbourne Holocaust Museum's Hidden Children exhibition, working with the project team to shape the role of sound and music within the visitor experience and support its integration with the exhibition content.
My role included reviewing and guiding the use of music and sound across the exhibition, with particular attention to how sonic material could support the interpretation without overwhelming the stories being told.
2022
Pentridge Prison Tours
I worked across Sound and Music Supervision, Content Development and Research for the Pentridge Prison Tours, contributing to the development of interpretive content and the sonic approach to the visitor experience.
The role brought together historical research, content development and audio,
considering how stories, voices, sound and music could work together within
an experience of the former prison site.

Changemakers: Hidden Stories
I was Project Lead for Changemakers: Hidden Stories, an interview-led audio experience developed for the Museum of Australian Democracy's Changemakers exhibition. The work brings together first-person stories and reflections from a diverse group of people whose creative practice, advocacy and lived experience engage with questions of change, equality and participation.
I led the interviews and worked across experience design, editorial development and audio production, including the commissioning and supervision of sound and music. The experience was designed to work both within the exhibition and as a standalone piece that could be listened to remotely.

Boola Bardip Digital Guide
I worked on the digital guide for the newly opened WA Museum Boola Bardip, bringing together stories, objects, voices and audiovisual material from across the Museum's collections. The guide was designed to support different ways of navigating the Museum while extending the stories encountered in the galleries.
My contribution included creative production and audio and content production, working
with a broad group of contributors and subject specialists. Audio storytelling included
contributions from writers and cultural figures such as Tim Winton, a newly commissioned musical work by Noongar Elder Richard Walley and exhibition soundscapes by Phil Stroud.

Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame
Digital and audio interpretation developed for the Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame, including The Hugh audio experience and the Coil Kids experience. The work used storytelling and interactive media to create different entry points into the histories, collections and characters represented throughout the museum.
My work spanned creative production, audio and content production of over sixty audio stories and a separate audio game, contributing to the
development of experiences for different audiences and modes of engagement.
I commissioned ARIA-award winning artists & composers Fanny Lumsden and Kalkadunga man William Barton to create original music and soundscapes for the audio experience.
2021
Easy Riders — Eugenia Lim
Creative development and sound consultation for Eugenia Lim's Easy Riders, continuing an ongoing collaboration around sound, performance and moving image. My contribution focused on the role of sound within the developing work and how it could support the project's conceptual and experiential language.
2020
Piinpi: Contemporary Indigenous Fashion
Sound and music for Piinpi: Contemporary Indigenous Fashion, curated by Southern Kaantju, Umpila and Kuuku Ya'u woman Shonae Hobson at Bendigo Art Gallery. I developed an exhibition soundscape alongside Deadly Jam, bringing together music and sonic material to contribute to the atmosphere and experience of the exhibition.
The work formed part of my broader interest in sound as an exhibition material: not
simply accompanying objects, but helping to shape how a visitor moves, feels and listens
within a space.
2020
Becoming You: An Incomplete Guide
I was commissioned independently as Sound Designer and Composer for Becoming You: An Incomplete Guide at the Immigration Museum. I created an expansive original score and series of soundscapes for the exhibition, developing a distinct sonic environment for each gallery and exhibition room.
The sound design worked across the exhibition as a continuous immersive layer, bringing the emotional thread of the stories to the foreground and helping connect the individual spaces into a broader experiential journey.
2020
On Demand — Eugenia Lim
A sound and music collaboration for Eugenia Lim's On Demand, presented through
the 6x6 project. Working within Eugenia's existing visual and conceptual language, I
contributed music and sound to the moving-image work.

Japan Supernatural
A location-aware audio experience created for Japan Supernatural at the Art Gallery of NSW, bringing together curatorial storytelling, sound and original music within the exhibition. The experience was designed to be listened to while looking and moving through the gallery rather than following a prescribed sequence of stops.
I led creative production and worked across audio production and music direction as part of the ongoing development of the Gallery's immersive audio format.
2019
MINE — Simon Denny
I led creative production and experience design for the augmented-reality components of Simon Denny's major exhibition MINE at Mona. The exhibition examined extraction and mining across both rare-earth minerals and human labour, with the AR layer extending these ideas through Mona's O app.
One of the central AR elements was the threatened King Island brown thornbill,
appearing as a contemporary version of the "canary in the coalmine". My work also
led into a collaboration with scientists to locate and document the bird's call,
which had not been adequately represented in available sound archives.
2018
Masters of Modern Art
An immersive audio experience developed for Masters of Modern Art from the Hermitage at the Art Gallery of NSW. The project combined voice, music and sound within a mobile experience that allowed visitors to move freely through the exhibition while choosing when and how deeply to engage with interpretation.
I worked across creative production, audio production and music direction, contributing
to the evolving sound and experience design approach that would underpin subsequent Art Gallery of NSW audio
experiences.
2018
What's On Your Mind? — Josh Muir
I produced the augmented-reality layer for a series of eight works by Gunditjmara, Yorta Yorta and Barkindji artist Josh Muir for What's On Your Mind? at Bendigo Art Gallery. The project was developed with curator Shonae Hobson, animator Isobel Knowles and creative technologists Dan Parkinson and Mitch McCaffrey.
Josh approached the collaboration as an exchange between artists and makers rather than
a conventional technology commission. Alongside creative production, I contributed
sound design and music production, scoring Josh's intimate narration and Isobel
Knowles' psychedelic animations.
2018
Awaken
Digital interpretation developed for Awaken, an exhibition presented through the University of Melbourne and Melbourne Museum. The project brought together virtual reality, augmented reality and digital labels as different ways for audiences to encounter and explore exhibition material.
My work focused on creative production and experience design across the different digital components, considering how each technology could serve the content rather than becoming an end in itself.
2018
Deep Soulful Sweats
Music direction, performance score and sound design for Deep Soulful Sweats' opening-night performance at Castlemaine State Festival. I developed and produced the musical and sonic framework for the live work and performed as DJ.
My contribution crossed composition, sound design, audio production and live performance,
supporting the collective's physical and participatory performance language.

John Russell
An early project in a seven-year collaboration with the Art Gallery of NSW exploring how mobile audio could become a more integrated part of the gallery experience. The project combined curatorial storytelling with sound and music designed for listening while visitors continued to look at artworks and move through the exhibition.
I worked across creative production, music composition and audio production, helping establish an approach
that would continue to evolve through subsequent major summer exhibitions at the Gallery.
